Here is a picture of the capitals library
Here is the sculpture he made out of his son.
The first field trip I went on was to the capital, and I learned a lot about the capitals history. I also saw how beautiful it was I especially loved the library. We also got to see the Legislative and executive working there were 100 desks for the legislative and 50 desks for the executive. I also went to the top of the capital and it was beautiful I got to look down at all the people and see the different things on each floor. I found out that some of the paintings in the capital are up to 10,000 dollars. Something that I found interesting about the capital was that a man was in the house of representatives and tipped over a candle and caught the house of representatives on fire the man in charge of the capital ordered people to take out as meany wooden desks so the fire wouldn't spreed. They got 97 desks out of 100, a man thought of closing all the windows and doors in capital to stop the fire and it worked he was considered a hero so he was chosen to remodel the house of representatives. A few weeks later after the capital was safe and reassured it would not set on fire again he went up to start remodeling he started looking around at the damage, he was going to look around by standing on a beam but he took one steep and fell to the bottom of the capital and died. Here is a picture of the capitals library The next day we went to another field trip to the art museum and to the sculpture park we did research on an artist that would have there art at the art museum and I did Pablo Picasso i got to see his piece he actually made it was really cool. I loved seeing all the art. There was this one piece of art that looked like a cage that hung to the ceiling. The sculpture park was cool there was this sculpture and there is different colors every side you look into. At the sculpture park there was one were there was a boy sitting and i found out where the artist found his inspiration by his kid. one day his kid came into his work shop and read a book so the artist made a sculpture of his son made out his letters.
Here is the sculpture he made out of his son.

Over the weekend my friend slept over and we set up my new volley ball net and played volleyball we also went on bike rides. Then on Saturday I went to fun night with a friend and we did all the games, we also raced on the inflatables but I lost most of the times. After that we went out to eat at buffalo wild wings. Then we dropped off my friend and went back home. On Sunday I went outside with my neighbor and played volleyball and won by 10 points.
This week my class read an article on what kids do with there teeth when they loose it. We are supposed to pick a country and say what that country does then compare it to what we do I choose Nigeria.
What Nigeria does is the children through stones in the air. When your a girl you through 6 stones, when your a boy you through 8. Before they through the stones they say there name and count how many stones they have. Then they say oh, I want my tooth back. Next they through everything in there fists in the air and run as fast as they can. What I do is after I loose my tooth is I wait until its dark out then I slip the tooth under my pillow and go to sleep then in the morning I find money or a piece of candy under my pillow. Somethings we have uncommon is that I don't through anything in the air or yell something out. Something else we have uncommon is that they don't put anything under there pillow. here is a picture where Nigeria is located This week I have been working on poems like writing poems, reading different kind of poems, rhyming poems. We also worked on the rhythm of poems, we did meany activities like sorting parts of a poem here is a poem that I really enjoyed.
Today in math my class were learning about pie charts we used skittles as our example we were trying to figure out how meany skittles were in a bag so we did a sample we got 10 skittles we had to count how meany red, yellow, orange, green and purple skittles we had I got 3 red ,2 yellow, 3 orange,0 green, and 2 purple. Then I turned it into percents for my percentages I got 30 for red, 20 for yellow, 30 orange, 0 green and 20 purple, after that we did a class sample we got 21 red, 15 orange, 12 orange, 32 green, 20 purple then we figured out that a class sample is better to work with cause its more accurate here is a pie chart of both of my information
