The first field trip I went on was to the capital, and I learned a lot about the capitals history. I also saw how beautiful it was I especially loved the library. We also got to see the Legislative and executive working there were 100 desks for the legislative and 50 desks for the executive. I also went to the top of the capital and it was beautiful I got to look down at all the people and see the different things on each floor. I found out that some of the paintings in the capital are up to 10,000 dollars. Something that I found interesting about the capital was that a man was in the house of representatives and tipped over a candle and caught the house of representatives on fire the man in charge of the capital ordered people to take out as meany wooden desks so the fire wouldn't spreed. They got 97 desks out of 100, a man thought of closing all the windows and doors in capital to stop the fire and it worked he was considered a hero so he was chosen to remodel the house of representatives. A few weeks later after the capital was safe and reassured it would not set on fire again he went up to start remodeling he started looking around at the damage, he was going to look around by standing on a beam but he took one steep and fell to the bottom of the capital and died.

I loved seeing all the art. There was this one piece of art that looked like a cage that hung to the ceiling. The sculpture park was cool there was this sculpture and there is different colors every side you look into. At the sculpture park there was one were there was a boy sitting and i found out where the artist found his inspiration by his kid. one day his kid came into his work shop and read a book so the artist made a sculpture of his son made out his letters.
